Very Good Audience recording
Lineage: Aud > ? > MD > ? > CD(x) > EAC > Flac

Ripped and FLAC'd by Mr A from Norway...
Collated by eclect - http://db.etree.org/eclect
Frequency rolloff from 15kHz to under -90dB by 16kHz. This rolloff at 15k suggests a lossy heritage in source (probably MD).

- 'Last Goodbye' (Track 06) is missing the beginning
- 'Kanga-Roo' (Track 11) does not sound like same source, so may not even be from same show. (fade out also evident at end of track 10)
- Removed silence (TAO?) breaks at the end of each track, so it is restored to an uninterrupted source now.

Jeff Buckley 1994-10-25 Club Soda Montreal, QC

Fine recording of the complete set.  Audience is quiet during the songs (only very occasional
low-level talk) but there was a loud clapper very close and there are occasional random
comments (many in French).  Otherwise, music and vocals are in excellent quality.  This
recording has circulated within trading circles; here it is with known lineage.

Excellent Soundboard recording

Lineage: SBD > WBCN FM 104.1 Boston broadcast > DAT at 48 kHz >DAT clone > .wav via S/PDIF and Dio Midiman 2448 digital soundcard >SoundForge 6.0 > CD Wave > MKW Audio Tool 0.97 Beta 1 > SHN-Decoded to .wav, checksums verified > phasing inverted and commercially released music deleted with CoolEdit Pro 2.0 > FLAC Frontend (level 6, SBE OK)

Large frequency spike at 19kHz.

While editing out commercially released content in preparation for FLAC set it was discovered that channel phasing was incorrect. That has been resolved with this set, making this what should stand as the definitive version of this memorial broadcast in circulation.

Requests and KISS shows

Requests have been slow the last few days so i will put up what i feel like listening to until more requests come in. You can always request anything off my list db.etree.org/plumdusty. Just leave a comment anywhere. I will find it.
As for the KISS shows, the person i got them from has asked that i not put them up on the blog or elsewhere. I will abide by his wishes. I am slowly getting those shows from other sources, so when i have completed that task i will delete his from my hard drive and post the new ones i downloaded. Most of which will have new info files and as much info on the source as i can gather as many of his had no info file at all. It will be a long task but i will get it done. Also, at least one of the KISS shows i posted is mp3 sourced. That will be removed later this evening. I will also try to post some of my old masters as well.

'Born Again From The Rhythm - The Grace Outtakes ' - Godfather Records, GR 172.
Lineage: Silver Bootleg CDs > EAC > Flac >bt-completedir > HC > you

This bootleg does not contain all outtakes - its missing known outtakes - 'Calling You',
'Forget Her', 'Kanga-Roo', and 'Lost Highway'. May have also contained an additional track of
'Mama, You Been On My Mind'.

The only other bootleg having this very same material is 'The Bearsville Grace Outtakes'
but the quailty is not as pristine as on 'Born Again From The Rhythm'.

Tracklist correlated to archived webpage sources from archive.org, date taken
from the book Dream Brother by David Browne.

NOTES
Recording at the Bearsville Studio started late September 1993 (after the 20th) to around
October 30, so exact dates of these recordings cant be more accurately dated.

During these sessions 'Calling You', 'Forget Her', 'Kanga-Roo', and 'Lost Highway' had been also performed which appear in other forms on official releases.

For a second, after 'Night Flight' Jeff goes into the riff of 'Celebration Day'.
Just before finishing off he also goes into Hymn To A'Lamour and plays its tune.

NOTES
Jeff's solo performance from Sin-E is broadcast live in WFMU's live 'Music Faucet'. The vibe is full of laughter and good mood and Jeff gives two inspired and unique versions of 'Lilac Wine' and 'Lover, You Should’ve Come Over'. The latter turned out to be a pretty much heartfelt nine-minute long version of the song featuring alternate lyrics to the released version - dropping some verses just to refill them with completely new improvisations made up on the scene.

NOTES
The stage layout for this show is fascinating, with Gary Lucas keeping two open roadcases draped with skull shawls nearby. They contain his guitars, a vintage Gibson LG-0 acoustic and a black Stratocaster. He makes use of all manner of effects, effectively using a loop pedal in songs like 'How Long Will It Take' to layer his parts. His presence adds so much texture and depth to the songs, many of which Jeff would abandon when he left Gods and Monsters.
