Notes on Show:

The Mats continued their recent trend toward degenerating into a sloppy mess (much to the the delight of the fans.) Paul mentioned he caught a cold on the plane and coconut water was keeping him going. The red tent came out again, and went crowd surfing, making it at least to the rear of the main floor.  They (re-)introduced an old standard cover, "Another Girl, Another Planet", nailing it, and pulled out "Be My Lover" apparently specially for Detroit.  The other covers, of course, have been worked into this re-union tour already. I'll take the opportunity to note that the absence of September Gurls in the reunion tour is curious, as it used to make almost every set back in the day.  The jam starts with a surf riff and goes into a blues riff. After the encore, Paul's giving stuff away to the crowd, picks, etc. But he apparently doesn't want to give away the set list, so he takes it, mentioning something about "boogie in B" (possibly the jam?) and how picking shit off the floor is what he does at home.
