George Harrison 1974-11-04 Centre Coliseum Seattle, WA

George Harrison

4 November 1974

Seattle, Centre Coliseum

Source - Live in Seattle - November 4, 1974 (Publisher - RMG)

The second show of George Harrison's ill-favoured 1974 North American tour, and the earliest to be circulated in its entirety. Occurring before the negative reviews/feedback started to come in (which seems to have started from the next show in San Francisco, where there was presumably more media scrutiny), the show is more upbeat than most from the tour. Clean and clear-sounding audience recording.

Review (of Gold standard version of show):
"A truly wonderful set, much better than the alleged "best" concert from Baton Rouge. The extended workout on "Hari's on Tour (Express)" is missing from later shows, and the musicians' exitement during the first songs is really palpable. It's also interesting to hear the long intervals between George's and Ravi's set... Not soundboard, but very good sound indeed. A winner, as far as I'm concerned."  StevenV
