Volume 7 of 'MoMac's Hidden Tracks' continues where volume 6 left off, with the remaining tracks from
the 1974 Piano Tape. Next up is recordings done by Wings during their stay in Nashville, in the summer
of 1974. Ending the disc is the rehearsals, plus a batch of songs from the actual unreleased film shot
at Elstree Studios, 'One Hand Clapping'. These are great in-studio live takes in excellent stereo sound.
Highlights include a roaring version of 'Soily' and Paul doing a few songs (including the early composition
'Suicide') alone at the piano.
This is the Seventh volume of the fantastic 'MoMac's Hidden Tracks' CDR's issued in 2002.
This mammoth collection gathers all available McCartney outtakes, including live cuts, demos
and a few rarities,in chronological order and from the best sources (available at the time -
for example, the Get Back recordings are now available in upgraded quality).Quoting another
trader: 'When you have this, hardly any of the other
bootlegs matter.'.
This was first put out as a fan project on CDR's but has since been bootlegged.
I can't remember any titles, but I've seen silver disc copies of this originating from Japan.
Sound quality is overall excellent. Artwork is included.
Enjoy and keep an eye open for the next volumes in this series coming up soon!

Volume 8 presents more soundtrack recordings from the unreleased 'One Hand Clapping'
film. This footage is now available on DVD, put in pretty poor quality. Next up is my
personal favourite part (and keep in mind that there are LOTS of great stuff on these
two volumes!): outtakes from the recording of the 'Venus And Mars' LP in 1975. This is
excellent material and it's great hearing these different, alternate takes, as well
as the Rough Quad mixes.
