The BBC use embedded flash video.

VLC and Media Player Classic play these files no problem (so does 'SUPER').

VLC media player 1.1.0 gives the following info. for each file:-

Media Info 0.7.34 agrees with VLC and gives more info. such as colour space (YUV) and chroma subsampling (4:2:0)
but for our purposes I note that the videos are 25.00 fps and that the overall bit rates are 814 Kbps for the interview
and 810, 818 and 815 for performance part 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
