Yes 1976-06-05 - Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson

Yes
Jackson, MS
June 5, 1976

Short version, but better quality

1.01 Live Radio Interview with Jon & Steve prior to show (WZZQ) (7.08)
1.02 Intro (3.28)
1.03 Siberian Khatru (9.24)
1.04 Sound Chaser (10.53)
1.05 I've Seen All Good People (7.03)

Lineage is uncertain, but my tape > PC > Sound Forge for speed correction > CD > FLAC

In the Yes trading circles there exists a complete recording of this show, but the quality is just fair at best. This version was recorded by my buddy and he lent me the tapes to make the CD. The quality is probably a B or B-.The interview was recorded in his car on the way to the show (he lived in Memphis at the time) with the mic placed near the car speakers. I was asked to seed this as the 'other' version was not a good in quality. Sadly, if I remember correctly, my buddy told me he had recorder problems and therefore the rest of the show is missing. Too bad as it stops just before the rare solo spots.

Here's another Solo tour show when Yes was still performing the solo tunes. Gates of Delirium is incredible. The sound is pretty good-instruments and vocals are fairly well-defined but a little distant.  I ran new checksums. Thanks to the original taper and uploader.

NOTES:
-------------------
- Brawls took the venue by storm. During "Sex Action", multiple people were involved in a fight, causing security to break it up and throw people out. Police lights could be seen outside throughout the rest of the show.
- After "Never Enough", Phil orders the crowd to stop fighting and "act like adults". Tracii playfully threatened to play "Stairway to Heaven" out of tune as payback.
