  * - The noise that begins here is due to the singing of the cicada bugs in the trees nearby.
The cicadas began to sing roughly XX minutes beofre the torental downpour started (see below)
 
 ** - When the rain began in earnest, I slid a yard-trasg bag over the mics.  Once the tapers
in front of me offerred me an umbrella (thanks Frank & Charles), I removed the bags.  This lasted
roughly 90- seconds of Bela's banjo solo.  The plastic killed the sound quality, although the
sound of plastic bags dragging across windscreens and mics is truely unique.  I removed the
bad audio section, and crossfaded back over the solo itself, once the bags had been removed.
