Audience recording of AC/DC's show at the Festhalle, Frankfurt-am-Main, west Germany (as it then was), on 31 January 1986. Rated as an 8/9, no doubt on a scale for audience recordings; it's pretty good - clear, crowd close but not intrusive, a bit distant, no distortion. Someone hit Angus in the chest with a drink cup early on, but he didn't miss a beat, and the show carried on without a hitch - a few "Fly on the Wall" tracks, an extended "Jailbreak", "Hells Bells" (with a recorded bell), "For those about to rock" with live cannons. Everyone was patted down on the way in, and handed out fundamentalist christian leaflets on the way out, which translated the lyrics of "Hells Bells" into German, explaining them with a bovine concreteness which caused general derision.

Lineage:
Master Type I tape > 24bit 88.2kHz wav > Pitch Correction: -20 > Cool Edit Pro 2.1 (track splits, fades, patch of tape flip, dither to 16/44, apply fades to CD1 end and CD2 start) > wav > flac
Edits made:
1. Fade in at start, fade out at end (loss of the noise of the machine switching on/off)
2. Split into separate tracks
3. Edit of tape flip after track 9 - brief patch of applause added, and transitions smoothed. The start of side two of the tape had the end of a stray guitar note, which has been patched with the start of another one from elsewhere on the recording.
4. Length of applause before start of show and before encore has been trimmed.
