For this show we have 2 sources:
The commonly circulating version comes from a video and was very hissy and saturated. I gladly did a new rip from it and came up with a very good result (I call it source #1).
Source #2 has a good sound but it’s lossy (very compressed), it’s coming from my collection but I don’t know the lineage.
We have decided to offer 2 versions:
Vol 05a corresponds to a mix from both sources to get the most complete recording (using in priority the reworked source #1).
Vol 05b corresponds to a merge from both sources to have a more spacious sound. This is the version which BlueTurns2Grey will use for a video that he will upload simultaneously.

The source used in priority is source #1. First I ripped and edited the video. Then I declicked the recording and balanced the channels (+20% to the right channel). To complete the recording I used source # 2.

There’s a big gap in the version #1 (around 2’28 was missing!) so from 2’10 until 4’38, the music comes solely from source #2 and the last 5 seconds are solely from source #1.

There’s a big gap in the version #1, the end of this track and a part of the banter were missing (around 4’29). So, from 6’40 to the end, the recording comes solely from source #2.

Here you will find a mix (to get the most complete recording) and a merge (to get a more spacy sound) from the 2 existing sources.
For the merges I took by reference the new recording (left channel) when the old version is on the right channel.
The old version ran way too quick and had to be decelerated by -4,5%.

Here you will find the second source. There were defects due in particular to noise on the microphone but they have been removed or improved. As usual the recording has been declicked.

VOLUME 03a
Here you will find the 1st source: it comes from nzb and has not been circulated widely before.
This version ran way too fast and had to be decelerated by -4,5%.
The right channel is unbalanced and is often saturated unlike the left one which is recorded less loudly (but is still sometimes saturated). In addition this channel is ahead to the right (the sound is off-center to the left). The signal is identical on both channels (monophonic recording), so the solution was to keep only the left channel and duplicate it.
Here 3 songs are incomplete but it’s the only lossless source.

For this show we have already presented the Maidenlane recordings:

It would not make sense to repeat them here.

On the other hand, there are video recordings that BT2G will be able to present on its side.

So we made a merge of the soundtrack of the videos and the Maidenlane recordings by synchronizing them to use them with the videos. The synchronization was made difficult due to the many micro speed variations in the video recording: but I did my best.

For this volume, the two sets are combined:

1st show: (left = video & right = MDL decelerated by -1,6%)

2nd show: (left = video & right = MDL decelerated by -1%)

This series begins with a recording that has not been widely circulated and that nzb provided. The quality was very average because one of the 2 channels was saturated and ahead of the other (hence an off-center sound). Fortunately, it was a mono recording and I was therefore able to improve it by keeping only the least altered channel and duplicating it.
