Notes: In the summer of 1983 the reconstituted Aerosmith with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay decided to embark on a short tour. One could say it was in support of its Rock In A Hard Place released in 1982, but no tunes from that release were played.
The band decided to party a bit on Lake Havasu in Arizona before the tour kicked off. Within a few days word got out there were some heavy drugs being ingested and Tyler and company were paid a visit by local authorities. Tyler was busted, but was bailed out (eventually was let off with a fine) before the first show of the mini tour, which was as follows:

July 30, 1983 Compton Terrace, Phoenix, AZ
August 2, 1983 California Exposition Amphitheatre, Sacramento, CA
August 3, 1983 County Fairgrounds, Ventura, CA
August 5, 1983 Pacific Coast Amphitheater, Costa Mesa, CA
August 6, 1983 Sports Arena, San Diego, CA

All of the gigs were recorded by audience members, documenting Tyler's drugged out ramblings. The show in Ventura was cut short with Tyler out of his mind.

This is the first gig of the tour and Tyler incorporates his recent bust into teh lyrics of "Back In the Saddle" :  "The Kingman cops got me by the....."
Sounds like it was a million dergees at the show at this outdoor venue as Tyler comments on the heat. Apparently the taper's batteries also succumbed. While the quality is quite good, the tape deck strained under the heat and stops and starts throughout.
