Finally after 3 years I managed to locate 3 of my Masterrecordings that I thought got lost in the last move.
This is show # 3. This was the first and only time I´ve seen Kingdom Come live.
At this moment they only had the first album released. But they put on a great show for us.
The venue itself doesn´t have anything to do with music at all. It´s really one of the worst venues for music I´ve experienced
over the years. Bad acoustic since it´s actually a basketball hall.
I think I´ve done the best to capture the magic of this great night.
This show has been up here before but this is a totally new transfer with a new lineage.
Hope you all will enjoy this nice little piece of music history.

Notes: I was really saddened to see that Kingdom Come and Amorphis were playing the same day, but considering I've taped the Finns quite a few times and taking into account some other factors I decided to attend Lenny's show and I was right. Just a bit more than two hours of Kingdom Come with three songs performed in acoustic and a very amusing moment (see track 14) with a small girl Lenny presented a guitar to.
As always I stood right behind the soundtech, so I got the sound he had, but unfortunately either something happened to this German guy's ears or he had some problems with hearing but the sound was not perfect, especially drums sounded louder than Lenny's vocals. When the band started to play "Mother" the overall sound became SO loud that I had to "plug" my ears with fingers to prevent them from bleeding.
One more thing about the sound in the venue - sometimes 20-30 cm side shift of the head is enough to have the sound float. So there were several moments I had to move a little, hence the perfectionists will not be that delighted at noticing the sound changes.
As for the performance, it was probably the best KC show I attended, I just wish there were less songs from the latest LP, which is quite boring (no offence to the fans..). Anyways, enjoy this tape.
Once again, do not leech and run, say thank you to the taper and express your opinion on the recording.

Back to the hair metal as I present a late 80's/early 90's band that was very much maligned.
They were accused of being a Zeppelin ripoff, but I always thought that Kingdom Come was underrated. Yes, the influences were there, but I felt they had some pretty good riffs, and Lenny Wolf was a solid (if unoriginal) vocalist
I got this on a CDR trade earlier this year as a 2 disc set, but I ran it through Wav editor to split a couple of tracks and to take out about 10 minutes of dead time near the end. Once I did, it fit onto one CD.
