Volume 01:
15th March 1988
OSAKA - I
15th March 1988: MICK JAGGER. Osaka, Japan, Osakajo Castle Hall
For this first concert we have three recordings:
Source #1 appears on 'First Castle Magic' (Idol Mind Production IMP-N-008).
Source #2 was uploaded on Dime, recorded by Tadashi K., and is missing the encore ('Sympathy For The Devil'). The recording is a little distant with a sound decentered to the left channel.
Source #3 appears on 'Stone Alone' (TNT Studio TNT-940141/42): the sound is average and it's missing the last three tracks and the guitar solo.
The recording used by Idol Mind is the best. At least for the first two-thirds of the concert. The problems start during the drum solo. This track is edited and the source changes: the sound becomes high-pitched and annoying in its loudest segments. On the other hand, source #2 has an average sound with little treble. So I used a merge of these two sources from the drum solo until the banter after ‘Satisfaction’.
