Notes:
JEMS master recording. Excellent but incomplete recording missing the first 3 songs. This show captures R.E.M. touring in support of their Monster album with Luscious Jackson as the support act this night.
First of two nights JEMS recorded at MSG in 1995, the second of which has already been posted. For reasons that 14 years passing have left me unable to recall, I missed the start of the show on my master. A year or so later a taper/trader in NYC with whom I did several DAT trades provided me with an alternate source (also a DAT master and the copy a DAT clone) of the part of the show I missed and this torrent reflects the combining of both sources on a subsequent DAT tape. Like many tapes JEMS recorded in this era, we may have made a copy or two but this isn't likely to be widely circulated and it has never been torrented from the source.
