Volume reprofiling required during Absolute Beginners.
Tape flip between Fashion and Scary Monsters - clean join.
Some music in the background of the audience noise, early on disc 2.  Not sure if legacy recording on the tape, or more simply someone playing a radio in the crowd - but it's across two tape sides, so probably the latter.

iZotope RX2 denoiser - big clump of mess to removed.

First seven songs seem to have been recorded from outside of the venue, with a fair bit of noise from motor vehicles.
Noise removed between songs:
1. The Motel @ 1:45
2. The Man Who Sold The World @ 3:33 and 3:44
3. Boys Keep Swinging @ 3:21, 4:44 and 4:55

Further motor noise removed @ 5:57.  In between, a number of pops from kit being touched are reduced.
5. Not a lot I could do about motor noise over the last minute or so of Moonage Daydream.

Car door slamming removed immediately before the start of Look Back In Anger.

Tape flip between Look Back In Anger and The Hearth's Filthy Lesson - seamless.
Edit between The Man Who Sold The World and A Small Plot Of Land is on the source tape.

Conversation with passer-by that completely obliterates the music (38 seconds) at 45 seconds.  Simply removed.

Disc 2

2. Let's Dance
3. Fame
4. Time
5. Blue Jean
6. Modern Love

Notes

Soundforge Enhance tool, +3

Join on source between Fashion and Scary Monsters (assume tape flip).  While Scary Monsters was faded in, Fashion ended abruptly.  Fade added to Fashion to match.
Clearly an issue on the source, with the volume level being whacked to maximum early in Heroes.  Sound on Heroes reduced, but distortion still affects the song.  The next five songs are all missing, apparently while the problem is being fixed.
4:57 after the end of Fame, taper blows into mic - removed.
In the encore break between Fame and Time, there's a 2½ minute discussion between the taper and his mate(s) about who was responsible for batteries.  For the sake of sanity, all removed with fades!

Per wiki, the second show in Dallas (May 8, 1990) was recorded for radio broadcast in the USA with the in-between song chatter removed. 'Express Yourself' and 'Open Your Heart' are recorded from the first Dallas show (May 7), whereas the remainder of the recording is from the second Dallas show. [Westwood One paperwork online does not list the actual show date(s).]

And I'm still, thrillin'
For she was out on the road
Dancin' late at night
Seen my ride Sally ride
In just another moonlight smile.
Go ask Alice
In her Dallas Palace.
Bitch she's Madonna.
And she's on it!
Both beast and the beats
Beautiful, magical
Life's a ball
Where you find it
Keep it together
Forever and ever

6. Romeo & Juliet
7. News (dedicated to John Lennon & Bob Marley)(cut on the last note & first applause)

4. Jam >
5. Tunnel of Love (1 channel down for 1 second)

Encores :

6. Where Do You Think You're Going ?
7. Solid Rock

Pretty good audience recording from master. Like all the recordings done in big open air stadiums
it misses some bass, i'll added some but you can't do too much about it, since basses are not present
too much on the recording. It was a really windy day, so sometimes you'll listen to some wind
noise on the mics. It was recorded about 50 meters from the stage, central position in the middle of
the audience.

Master cassette > behringer ultra curve pro deq 2496 audio equalizer > tascam audio cdrw750 > plex tool professional XL > wav > flac.

According to some friends from the DS trading community this is an uncirculated show. A special
thanks goes to Dan M. for his precious help.

stole this from the tree.

That's The Way, Fire, Carouselambra, Carouselambra, Carouselambra

An interesting compilation of material presented in amazing quality from TDOLZ - the best available versions thus far.
The first four tracks from Stockholm were recorded from the soundboard on March 14, 1969 (the exact date may still be
in dispute).

As the CD back cover claims, this Stockholm material was "Taken From The Master Reel To Reel".  Statements like that
are always questionable, but there's no doubt this is a clean and near excellent recording.  This material has also
been available on Tarantura's "Kicks" - which used to be the best available version of this show - but as hinted at
earlier, this release on TDOLZ is a major upgrade from the Tarantura title.

Two tracks from the groundbreaking show at the Bath Festival on June 28, 1970 are presented in what TDOLZ says is
"Taken From The Legendary Analogue LP On KRISHNA Label". This entire show is available on many different titles, but
the sound quality has always been regarded as very poor to fair, at best. These two tracks do provide a significantly
cleaner but still slightly distorted sound from the SAME source tape used, for example, on the 2CD title "Bath 1970"
from Le-Mon Recordings. Some claim this is recorded off the soundboard.

"Missing Links" on TDOLZ is presented in very nice packaging - typical of TDOLZ. The unique cover has also been seen
as the Turkish LP cover for Led Zeppelin II. Definitely a very good release by any standard, and highly recommended to
the collector who already has almost everything.

Notes: This is a rarity...a good quality show from 1980. This is from the tour that was done to break Adrian in. The sound quality is good considering the age of the recording. Also, one of my favourites from the self-titled, "Charlotte The Harlot" is played.

For the 2nd night I had seats on the side which I normally dislike but with the
U2 sound system it was an improvement. After 3 1/2 hours of sleep and a long day
at a work conference I was tired.  Arena was 41 miles away and was supposed to
meet a fellow taper who had my ticket between 7 and 7:30.  Goal was to arrive early
enough to eat and get set up by 6:30.  Traffic was hell and finally resorted to
side streets through San Jose. After 2 hours in the car dinner was obviously not
going to happen so stopped for french fries and the use of the bathroom.  I got to
arena at 7 and got a text my friend was stuck in traffic.  He arrived at 7:30 and
rushed in to set up.  Show started and both sound was improved and band was hotter.
After Beautiful Day Bono changed things up and they went into a great version of Bad.
Had to be the highlight of the show.  During the encore Bono pulled a kid up on stage
which was cool.  All in all a nice recording of a fun U2 show.

Just the basic taper requests here and please no vitriol:
Don't be an ass by selling this or using it in a video that is sold
Don't modify the info file
Don't remaster and/or post on other sites that are not 100% free

Neil Young with The Santa Monica Flyers
Manchester, UK 1973-11-03.

?>CDR>EAC(Secure no C2)>Flac(Flacfrontend, level 6)

Backed by The Santa Monica Flyers, in the fall of 1973 Neil kicked of the Tonight's The Night tour, confounding the audience
and critcs alike. Dressed like a sleazy barkeeper, he'greeted the audience withe a rousin "Welcome to Miama Beach,
ladies ande gentlemen"

As represented by his Manchester gig from November, the shows were strange, incoherent affairs, with weird stage patter filling
the gaps between songs. The songs, let us put it this way, they were un-fucking believable. The first eight songs were new
and the ninth song the audience had heard only once before, at the beginning of the set. They performed also CITS that night
But that version was to long to fit on this 69 min. boot. Also a lot of talking has been cut

Opening night of the R40 tour! An interesting presentation with the guys starting off with Clockwork Angels then working their way backwards. I wasn't thrilled with the first set but the second set more than made up for it. I've been waiting 35 years to hear Jacob's Ladder. The usual goofy videos were present. Expecting a number of swapouts at second show in Lincoln, NE. Stay tuned.

Javit1972's details: First of all, this show was not broadcast live as it was
happening. It was broadcast some days after the original show taking place,
and as of yet, the date of the original broadcast is unknown. The radio station
secured the rights to broadcast only a part of the show from Peter Grant, who
thus gave them what we have today; copied from Jimmy's master reel. From there
the Pre-Broadcast reel resided in radio archives until relatively recently.
Around 1992 it was transferred to DAT and from there to my CDR which I EACed
to WAV and encoded to FLAC with FLAC frontend.

Iron Maiden 1980-10-09 Stockholm, Sweden - V3 (T-Mullet's remaster)

Stockholm Eriksdalshallen
Sweden
1980 october 9th
44:15 min
Linage: tape - ??-?? CD trade - me -wavleab - you
Flac files has been tested: OK

Remember boys and girls: the more you coments you write
the more you can get your grubby little hands on!
Besides it´s time to get more Maiden gig on dime, so be
the loving, giving person that YOU really are and share what you got!

1 Intro: Ides of march (fades in, almost everything is missing)
2 Sanctuary
3 Prowler
4 Remember tomorow
5 Running free
6 Transylvania
7 Phantom of the opera
8 Iron Maiden (tape-stop at 4:08)
9 Drifter

I have done a "re-made" again. The speed of this one was too slow
so i pitched it up almost one step. And i put two db in the bass
area and two db in the treble area. It´s not much of a change
(exept the pitch that is) but i didn´t want to ruin the recording
too much! It is slightly distorded, but you realy have to listen for it!

OK, this Iron Maidens first tour of Scandinavia opening for Kiss.

There is on three sad thing abou this one. The first one
is that Ides of march is almost gone. I would guess
the taper didn´t start the the machine for some reason.
The second one is, that the taper is sometimes talking to his
friend(s) Even thought that isn´t too hard to deal with.
Third one is that the recording and the place they played in
isn´t too great. The sound is distant even though the place in
itself ain´t too big. Eriksdalshallen is a fairly small place
and to me i can not come up with one good answer why it sound like
it does. Anyway this copy sound OK a 3- out of 5. Could be better
but then again, you have to have the original master!

On one ocasion you can hear one of the guys say, "det har g├ątt fyrtio minuter"
In plain english that would be something like this: It´s been forty minutes now"
My guess is that the taper and his friend(s) was very carful to catch the entire
gig on one side of the cassette (45 min) so to make sure they don´t have to
miss anything the taper stops the recording after Iron Maiden and then starts
again before Drifter. Unfortunaly we miss acouple of seconds of Paul DiAnnos rant.
Well, that´s ok by me he doesn´t say anything intresting just mumble and sounds
like ha is haveing a good time. And for the hell of it he says it´s Iron Maidens first
time in Sweden!

Well, enough of my yakin´
Have a happy listening!

The Digital Dan   (Audio - 7)A rare show form the brief Semi Tour of Some of the Hemispheres tour. These shows served as a preview and warm up for the
recording of the Permanent Waves album. This concert has a great performance of both books of Cygnus and worth having for that alone. Occasionally you
can get a source that just remasters beautifully, and this is one of those sources. The highs are fantastic, a little strong at times, but incredibly
accurate and detailed. The mix is great, just about perfect. The song selection alone is a reason for having this performance. You get all the epics in
one recording, full length performances of 2112, Xanadu, Cygnus X-1, Hemispheres, and La Villa Strangiato. An incredible sounding tape for the time, a
real must have. As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links section
to find people that will gladly trade this recording for free.    (1999-06-24)

Ben   (Audio - 7)Not really a bad sounding show, maybe just a bit slow but not too bad. (it appears to get slightly slower as Hemispheres starts) Pretty
heavy on drums and low end (which may have something to do with the speed) the guitar is a bit hard to hear at times (mostly during the early first half
of the show, but clears up) , and there is some distortion on the cymbals but nothing extremely awful!
Some of the highlights are a great version of Cygnus/Hemispheres (TOTALLY UNCUT!), and a pre-release version of The Spirit of Radio & Freewill (with a bit
of a different ending) Then we get a "bossa-nova" style intro to Working Man.
This is the best show out there from the pre-Permanent Waves recording warm-up extravaganza tour, Beats the Allentown show as far as sound quality! (which
isn't completely horrible, but seems to be weak during the "meat" of the show) Definitely would be a great addition to any collection! Check it out!!!!

Ron's Rush RoIO Review   (Audio - 7)This is so far the best show to emerge from the short pre-PeW tour. The set list is the same as others from this tour.
The performance is great -- the version of The Spirit of Radio is very distinctive, especially in the "Simon and Garfunkel" part of the song. The sound is
pretty good for a show of this age. It?s got a booming bass end, and the drums sound quite good. It?s a bit distorted though, especially in the high end.
Still, it?s a great version of this transitional tour.   (1999-04-01)

Eric   (Audio - 5.5)
I've never really been fond of this recording. The drums are REALLY loud, and I don't really think they sound so great. The guitar is almost background
noise, and the bass is pretty muddy. There is, however, a lack of distortion, which is good. Geddy is REALLY distant, so its hard to make out what he is
saying. He is also very background too, so that why I have never been to fond of this recording. So, there for, I can only recommend this to die-hard
collectors.   (2008-11-19)
