Fans of Glenn Hughes' back catalogue should like this recording. Accompanied by the soulful instrumentalists Hans Zermuehlen on the keys and George Nastos on guitar, Glenn Hughes delivers funkified versions of some Trapeze and Deep Purple classics (MK3/MK4), some Hughes/Thrall
songs and a nice cover of Stevie Wonder's Superstition. As Glenn had not played Germany for a long time in 1998, he decided to leave out his more recent solo material at the time. One could argue this decision since our funkmeister had delivered two fine albums with Feel and Addiction in the mid-ninetites.
About the recording: only one channel was recorded on the stereo mike so I copied and pasted the left channel to the right channel to give it some kind of stereo feel to it. Also, I missed out on the very first minute of the show as well as on the encores (You Fool No One and Burn) so I used my friend's Ad recording to fill in the gaps.
Hope you'll like this audio document as much as I do.
cheers,
Fedor
