Notes:
JEMS is proud to be able to partner with and present some of the choice recordings in the D & D archives. Some of these recordings have been around for years but none of the master tapes or safety copies in some cases have ever been digitized until now. Dave and Donn taped many shows in and around the Seattle area in the 70's and also were contemporaries of some of the JEMS members. Volume 4  captures the Rolling Stones late show at the Seattle Center Coliseum touring in support of their Exile On Main Street album. They played 2 shows this day an early and late show. This was the 3rd show of the tour and 2nd show of the tour in the U.S. This recording was done on Dave's dads combo radio/tape recorder with Donn and Dave taking turns holding the mics and working the cassette deck. This an excellent recording but a little heavy on the bass. The complete master couldn't be located at this time so a 1st gen safety reel of Dave's was used to fill in the missing sections. This is the best overall performance of the two Stones shows Dave and  Donn taped in 1972 with a fabulous performance of You Can't Always Get What You Want. The recording was mastered for sonic enhancement.
