LDB Special Series #181
Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the
musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my
cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!
I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my
reward for all the work involved in this project.
DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing
music here.

This is U2's second performance in New Zealand, and is in fact their second performance in the entire Southern Hemisphere.
U2 had intentions to visit the Southern Hemisphere - as well as India - on the War Tour but were exhausted and instead only
did a brief tour of Japan. This factor, as well as the band's lack of familiarity with material from the then soon-to-be
released Unforgettable Fire album meant that setlists at the New Zealand and Australian shows were very similar to those
from the War Tour. Infact, only Pride from the new album was played that night, so I don't know if we can really consider
this tour as a TUF tour or rather a post-War tour!.
The ratio sucks here at U2 torrents that is why I am seeding this show here. Please do not seed it elsewhere.
The recording is bloody good and clear for a 25 years (almost) old tape. You will have some fun with it! Again, this is my
favourite U2 period and tours. I wish I could be in Australia in 1984!
