Lineage: Maxell XLII 90 cassettes of unknown generation - my guess is 2nd > Optimus SCT-57 playback deck > Tascam DR-08 (wav @ 24/96) > USB > Adobe Audition 1.5 (speed correction, limiting, splits & fades, conversion to 16/44.1) > TLH (SBE fix, flac 8)
I'm not sure how common this recording is. I might be muddying the pool a bit with an inferior version to something that's already out there, but I'll take the risk in case it's a gem to someone.
The recording begins part way in with a fragment of Somebody to Love, then stops, then begins in earnest during Plastic Fantastic Lover. There are several momentary blanks where the recording was stopped briefly, and some songs are slightly truncated by tapeflips. I also do not have any more of this, as the second tape, if there was ever one, was swallowed up somewhere before I got given the collection.
