Here is another in the series of Going For The One shows that the Tooleman asked me to provide. I had these tapes for about 25 years and so I dug them out and..oh boy, what a mess! The sound is ok, the bass was a little overwhelming in spots for the mics, the volume fluctuated in both channels, there are muffled spots, speed was off, there was a hollowness to the sound, Close To The Edge was split on tape sides and fades out/in during the organ solo. You name it, the tapes had it. I cleaned it up as best I could, but my guess is, at the very least, a 2nd gen; probably higher than that. If anyone has an upgrade, please put it up. At this early stage of the tour there was no Tour Song. There is a little instrumental at the beginning of GFTO, but that's about it.
