Notes:  This show is from near the end of James Brown's final U.S. tour and is new to circulation.
The recording has taken a long journey to finally see the light of day.  It was taped by mlgunderson
about ten rows or so from the stage and on the far right side of the main floor section.  The crowd
is pretty energetic, as expected, but none of the chatter or cheering is directly into the mics.

Fellow dimer Not_dark_yet happened to notice that I had posted a show from IU Auditorium a couple
of years ago and sent me a PM hoping there might be a chance that I had taped this show.  Unfortunately
for me, I didn't go for some reason, but my buddy MLG did.  I asked him about it, and he started digging
around in his rather massive collection for the DAT master but couldn't find it.  He figured it must have
been converted to CD, and when he eventually found the discs, he noticed they had my handwriting on them.
Back in the mid-2000's when we were both taping on DAT, there were several shows that he had recorded
that I converted to CD.  We both forgot in the past decade plus that I had done the conversion, and for
some reason I didn't keep a copy for myself.

We live about an hour and a half apart and mostly just see each other when there's a show.  So, there were
a few times when we'd be meeting at a show and he would forget to bring the discs or when he had left them
in the car, but we weren't able to make the handoff after the show.  After one of those times, he was driving
home one night on the interstate and got rear-ended and run off the highway by a box truck in a hit-and-run.
He woke up with the paramedics around him and was hauled off to the hospital while the car was towed away.
Other than a few bumps and bruises, he was fine.  So, a couple of days later, MLG went to collect his belongings
from the car which had been totalled.  He had grabbed everything and did one last check of the console and
found the CDs of this show.  If it hadn't been for that last glance inside the console, the recording would have
gone to the car crusher and never been heard again.

I'm not entirely familiar with JB's catalog, so I did the best I could using setlist.fm for a ton of help.  Let me know
if I got any titles wrong.  When I got the CDs, I didn't go back in and edit or re-track it.  I decided to leave the
segues the way they were rather than splitting them into separate tracks.  Enjoy!
