#This is likely STEVE VIA's very 1st show replacing YNGWIE MALMSTEEN.
YNGWIE MALAMSTEEN played his last show in ALCATRAZZ just 6 days earlier on 1984-07-07 at the Milwaukee Summer Fest.
At this show, some members of the audience are unaware that MALMSTEEN had left the band.
After the opening number the people around the taper are extremely vocal in their displeasure that they were expecting to see YNGWIE.
As the show goes on, after each number the yells for "Yngwie!" become less and less. 
By the time STEVE VAI comes to his guitar solo he seems to have won over the majority of the crowd.

*Unfortunately this show is incomplete.
We can hear GRAHAM BONNET start to introduce the next song after "SUFFER ME" as "SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE.
But that is where this tape stops and that song and who knows how many more are missing from this recording!

Easily the best quality recording from the Vai era.
This was recorded from the front of the stage. An amazing recording, the vocals
are a bit low, but the guitar is very upfront. A real treat for all Vai fans.
Kojo No Tsuki is also done, somewhat similar to the Scorpions Tokyo Tapes version.

We will be presenting to you our transfers of the R.J.P. collection, which has been in the
possession of mike since his passing, over the coming months. There are

Alcatrazz had a split with Graham Bonnet in 2020 and there is also  a version of the band
playing with Graham and Jeff Loomis. This version features the original bass and keyboard
players. Larry Paterson is a New Zealander who previously played with Blaze Bayley and 
joined the band three weeks ago and this is only the third show from this line-up.

A co-headlining tour with Girlschool. With the addition of Dougie White they also played
some Rainbow and Michael Schenker songs.

Please do not sell this recording but share freely and enjoy it!
