Nevertheless, they remain extraordinary documents of this remarkable period.

14th April 1967: Zürich, Switzerland, Hallenstadion

For this show only a poor quality audience recording circulates: it can be found on “Swiss Made ‘67” (no label).
The recording accurately captures the chaotic atmosphere of the concert and the fervor of the audience.
Some accounts of the concert mention a stage invasion; the Stones seem to have interrupted 'The Last Time': perhaps for this reason?

Part 03:
11th April 1967
PARIS


11th April 1967: Paris, France, L'Olympia (1st or 2nd show)

This show is the most know from this tour and I used it as reference.
It was broadcasted on April 16, 1967 by French radio ‘Europe 1’ in their program 'Musicorama' (version #1).
Subsequently it appeared on lots of bootlegs in particular on DAC 190 ‘F***in And S***in’.

In the Seventies, 6 tracks were re-broadcasted in AM quality, they appeared on VGP 248 ‘Ready Steady Stones’ (I call it version #2).

In the Nineties five tracks were re-broadcast in FM quality (version #3). They appeared on VGP 101 ‘A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss’ with comments from a well known French actor: Jean-Claude Brialy (I call it version #3).

Part I: merge between VGP/DAC and Teague Raw:
The result that pleased me the most was to merge version #3 from VGP 101 or version #1 from DAC 190 with the version #1 proposed by Teague Raw (TR) several years ago (used as speed reference).

15th April 1967: The Hague, Netherlands, Houtrusthallen

This isn't Brian Jones' last concert with the Stones, but it is the last one for which we have a recording.
It can be found on 'Beat Beat Beat' (Multi Color Shades MCS 101) (running slightly too slow) and Teague Raw released a reworked version a few years ago.
It also appears on 'Groovin' Around' (VGP 074), which is my favorite version and which I tried to improve a bit by toning down the fluctuations in volume.
As usual, the recording is de-clicked and the phase improved.

One incomplete recording circulates (the 2 last tracks are missing).
It can be found on VGP 365 and Teague Raw offered his version years ago, The most interesting version is ‘Un Giorno A Milano’ which is the only losssless version and which also includes 3 songs from The Moves (support act) not presented here.

2nd April 1967: Vienna, Austria, Stadthalle (2nd show)

Aside from the Paris show, the other shows from the 1967 tour are of mediocre quality.
Nevertheless, they remain extraordinary documents of this remarkable period.

For the Vienna show, two sources are circulating:
The first, of slightly better quality, stops midway through ‘Goin’ Home.’ I’ve called it source #1. It can be found on ‘Groovin’ Around’ (VGP 074), and Teague Raw presented a version of it a few years ago.
The second source can be found on ‘Complete Vienna 1967’ and ‘Vintage Vienna’.
Both sources are also featured on ‘Both Wien Tapes 1967’, and a merged version, ‘2nd Vienna’, was already offered a few years ago by Funkydrummer.

Part I: source #1 upgraded
First I offer you the Teague Raw version slightly upgraded (de-clicked, phase adjusted, some flaws fixed). I kept the same speed except for ‘Goin’ Home’ (which was running too slow) on which I used the one from ‘Both Vienna Tapes’ (so accelerated by +3,15%).

In early April the Austrian TV (ORF) brodcast an extract from the show that I offer you here merged with the first source. This TV report seems to run too fast so I decelerated the soundtrack by -4% to synchronize it with the 1st version
