    Sept. 1963/Philadelphia
    Jimi plays guitar on these songs which were released as a Lonnie
    Youngblood single on Fairmount Records in 1964.  These are the
    very first recordings that Jimi played on.

03. My Diary
04. Utee
    Jan. 1964/Los Angeles
    Arthur Lee (later of the group Love) produced this Rosa Lee Brooks
    single released on Revis Records.  Jimi is on guitar and tremelo
    effects.

05. Testify
    March 1964/New York City
    Jimi did a lot of work with the Isley Brothers in 1964 and 1965.
    On the "Testify" single, Jimi lent his expertise as a guitarist
    for the Isleys

08. How Would You Feel?
    Oct. 1965/New York City
    During Jimi's brief stint with Curtis Knight and the Squires,
    26 different studio songs were released.  Of these sessions Jimi
    said, "They were nothing but jam sessions, man, with a group called
    the Squires ... and I was stoned out of my mind"

10. House of the Rising Sun
    Jan. 1966/Hackensack, New Jersey
    George's Club 20 was the site of this Curtis Knight live gig.
    Jimi played straight and fuzz guitar on these cuts.  A sample
    of things to come.
