COMMENTS:

Rush used three different setlists for this tour.  I felt that this night's setlist was the best. The band was tight, the sound was amazing and the show spectacular.

Geddy's voice was without strain and Neil/Alex on fire.

I was able to arrive early an record most, if not all of the soundcheck.  As far as I know this is the FIRST ever known capture of "Losing It" live.  The song debuted in Toronto, but this show was much earlier.  Please enjoy the first ever live capture of it.

The Matrix is a three STEREO source of Geddy, Neil, and a mix with emphasis of Alex.  Steve pulled off a "hat trick" in mixing.  I can't stop listening to this recording.

In the 40 years of this band there are many good/great audience recordings, as well as soundboards (both liberated and hoarded).  This recording is one that cannot be held down.  I wanted to wait until the band released their official version before I liberated this show.  I am extremely pleased with the result.

I have been a member of Dime for many years and received many great recordings and always felt the need to repay for such generosity.  To thak I say thank you.

Special shout out to Steve7711 for his work making three sources sound strong as one, and others who I will leave nameless.  You know who you are.

I had to make an equipment decision at the beginning of "Far Cry" which affects the first 2-3 minutes of the song but it is not anything other than noticable.  The move I made affected the rest of the show is an extremely positive way.  The samples should be example enough.

REQUESTS:

Please be mindful of the band and do not sell, or trade this show for personal gain.  It is free to share.

Do not try to remix the show.  It has been hamemred enough to anything else will affect your result.

IEM recordings may not be your "thing".  Your comments will not alter nor detract from me choosing this style of recording.

Recording this way requires a lot of practice, expense and patience.  If you do not have the time, money, nor control, then don't do it.

Please don't convert to mp3, then back to wave, and then trade it around. This stuff is too easy to find on torrents now.

Please do not attempt to remaster/remix this recording and spread it around. This has been heavily processed, and if you want to do your own mix, go get the wireless recordings (good luck) and do it yourself from scratch.

Also, please don't torrent on other sites without at least dropping me a line and asking. I may want to just torrent it there myself. Please ask (and wait for permission!) before putting it into any matrix + video. If you ask nicely, I will likely say “yes”.

DISCLAIMER:

This show is an alternative to my friend ottomustaine's audience recording of the same show found here  http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=529400
