This show just needed a little tender loving care to breathe some life into it. I corrected the tracks that were not split correctly, mainly on disc 1, and balanced the right and left channels where needed. Also, to my ears Thunder Road ran a little fast, so I worked on that. I EQed disc 1, but disc 2 was a whole different story because the last 3 songs were coming from another source. The sound was so buried that I did everything I could, using the lastest 2012 version of Magix Audio Cleaning Lab MX, to squeeze out every ounce of highs, mids and lows. I also improved the pitch which sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks covering Bruce. While this show may still be considered only for those wishing to complete their collection, there are a couple of very rare songs peformed: "Gimme That Wine" and "Funk Song" and that alone makes it worth havin. If you're looking for the best sounding remasters, check out the group from JEMS and EV2. I tend to work on shows that may not have the best sound to begin with, but perhaps with some determination and a lot of hard work, improvements are made.

THE ARTWORK:

The images I used for the CD artwork were photos from the actual show. Ironically, the front pic was used on other circualting boots such as "Austin 75" and "It's Gonna Work Out Fine" to name a few, but never on the actual Lenox show. So I used the appropriate photos relating to this show. The front right panel color pic and the larger left panel b&w pic were scanned from the Backstreets book "Bruce Springsteen The Man And His Music." The back cover pic and all other photos were taken from Brucebase. Thanks to Pete from the U.K. for doing a wonderful job on http://brucebase.wikispaces.com/

A little over a month later the Born To Run album was released!

Enoy!
