Notes:
From the deep dark depths of the archives JEMS presents you with a dat(0) copy of this recording they dubbed directly off the master cassettes back in 1993. This dat tape is the root copy of all master transfer lineaged copies of this recording circulating from 1993 on up(and probably the root tape transfer used for every bootleg release that is not the old vinyl release from the 70s). Unfortunately the dat tape was sampled at 32000kHz but this is as of Aug 2009 the best copy available sourced directly from the master cassettes. This recording's problems are already well documented but to restate, the major problems are the following; The right channel drops in and out for long periods of time on the first few songs up until Since I've Been Loving You and sporadically afterwards until towards the end of Dazed and Confused which is pretty much error free until the end of the recording. There are major wow/flutter issues that start in the middle of No Quarter and persist until the end of The Rain Song and show back up for about a minute during the bow solo section of Dazed And Confused and during the audience applause after Whole Lotta Love and the first encore. With that said this is an absolutely wonderful sounding recording when the issues clear up 32kHz sourced audio or not and a killer performance by the band with one of highlights being them playing Goin Down by Jeff Beck during Whole Lotta Love. This may possibly be  the best of all the 73 US tour shows and includes a rare appearance of Thank You on this leg of the tour as the final encore.
