Recorded with Audacity at 24bit/96000hz
De-clicked with ClickRepair: Setting 25
Amplified with Adobe Audition 2.0: Left channel +5.0db, right channel +4.6db
Eq'd with Adobe Audition, 30 band eq: added 4.5db at 40, 50 ,63, 80 and 1.5db at 5k, 6.3k, 8k, 10k, 12.5k
Converted to 16bit/44000hz: Dither: 0.8, pdf: Triangular, no noise shaping
Checked SBE's with Trader's Little Helper
No further hiss/noise reduction.
This transfer is not perfect but it's the best I can do with this setup and these old LPs. It was played/recorded/transfered using an ordinary stereo setup with a Linn Axis TT on one end and an Audiophile 2496 soundcard on the other. I did this for my own listening pleasure, the EQ-ing and all. There is some vinyl noise present. If you don't like it, there are other versions out there. Maybe some of them are from Westwood One CDs but I'm not sure.
The whole thing will fit nicely on two discs. If you prefer one music-only disc I have prepared the files for that too. Just keep the songs but don't forget to include F003 with the fade out.
