Doyle Lawson – guitar, vocals
Larry Rice – mandolin, vocals
Bobby Slone – bass

This set is part two of J.D. Crowe's performance at the festival.  The "Original New South" began the set with Tony Rice on guitar, then the band took a short break and returned as the Kentucky Mountain Boys with Doyle Lawson replacing Rice.  The PA system had a meltdown during Journey's End, which you will hear.  After the performance, Hugh Sturgill, J.D.'s friend and manager of many years, presents J.D. with a birthday cake to mark his upcoming 50th birthday.

As always, a beautiful recording from Charles.  Thanks for sharing!

Enjoy!
