It is unfortunate that the festival isn't possible this year (I had tickets) but we can all be hopeful about next year!
Please support the legend himself, Frank Turner, by purchasing merch, music or donating to his various causes (see his Independent Venue Love livestreams on YouTube and Facebook for links).

Glenn Hughes - vocals+bass
George Nastos - guitar
Gary Ferguson - drums
Hans Zermuehlen - keyboards

Fans of Glenn Hughes' back catalogue should like this recording. Accompanied by the soulful instrumentalists Hans Zermuehlen on the keys and George Nastos on guitar, Glenn Hughes delivers funkified versions of some Trapeze and Deep Purple classics (MK3/MK4), some Hughes/Thrall
songs and a nice cover of Stevie Wonder's Superstition. As Glenn had not played Germany for a long time in 1998, he decided to leave out his more recent solo material at the time. One could argue this decision since our funkmeister had delivered two fine albums with Feel and Addiction in the mid-ninetites.

About the recording: only one channel was recorded on the stereo mike so I copied and pasted the left channel to the right channel to give it some kind of stereo feel to it. Also, I missed out on the very first minute of the show as well as on the encores (You Fool No One and Burn) so I used my friend's Ad recording to fill in the gaps.

Hope you'll like this audio document as much as I do.

Bob Dylan 1991-06-06 Palaeur Rome, Italy

Bob Dylan and His Band

1991-06-06 Rome, Italy (Palaeur)

From an old DAT (received in trade, 1994-04-16).  Compared to [LB-3583 - xref-00719], this has the same slow clap at the beginning of Mr. Tambourine Man.  The LB-3583 listing reports its lineage as "AUD Cassette Master > DAT" etc., but I have always thought this was actually an early digital recording.  Be that as it may, it seems to me that this iteration has notably less hiss than the copy of [LB-3583 - xref-00719] I have heard.

TRANSFER DATE: 2016-07-21

WHAT I DID: DAT > WAV > Sound Forge (split into tracks) > FLAC > Windows explorer (tagging)

WHAT I DID NOT DO: resample the files (they remain @ 48 khz, just as on the original DAT, so you will have to convert them yourself in order to burn to CD.)

All thanks to the original taper and to the person who sent me the DAT (who may or may not be the same person)!

every "Outside" show - NIN literally started unnanounced and out of nowhere.
Otherwise, this is an AMAZING recording: probably the best from the tour.
