We'll Remember You
A 2cd Bob Dylan compilation in dear remembrance of our friend Jan Tempelman, who died 1 year ago
on 24-02-2009.Seeded at Hungercity 24-02-2010
"The princess and the prince discuss what's real and what is not, but it doesn't matter
inside the gates of eden...
You were one of those guys who were always inside, and one of those you had to love.
Always cheering for life and always giving. We will always remember you, and always miss you."
A compilation made out of friendship by Luisbp51, Tbc, Knockingman, Massimo, Stewcat, Charlespoet
& Blindwilly. Artwork by StewArt: http://dylanstubs.com/pictures/JanT%20COMP/index.html.
Thanks to all who did share this music with us. Special thanks to the family of Jan for providing
the photos that are used in the artwork.
Files have been extracted to wav with Dbpoweramp (flacs) or mkwACT (SHN-files).
WaveLab 6.11 has been used for editing. With Flacfrontend the tracks are converted back to
flac level6. Sources were as indicated on the tracklist, though levels have been adjusted on a track by track
basis. Some other changes as fade in/outs have been performed and maybe also slightly equalized
or possibly trimmed in a reduced number of tracks, so they will no longer remain the same as the
originals. Both cds were metanormalized to make it a whole.
Please don't convert to mp3. Be aware that the set should not be altered, so please keep the
whole set unchanged if you spread it.
Leave these songs in their Lossless Heaven in remembrance of Jan and keep your mp3 for yourself.

Charlespoet:
Jan was one of the kindest and most gentle souls I have ever encountered in the Dylan world
or beyond. He had a heart of pure gold.
Always ready to lend a helping hand and always positive and full of glimmering beatific light.
Working with him on the Rock This Joint Bob Comps was such a true delight.
He was a person of real integrity and true grit.
His Warrior Spirit will shine on and on and on and on ONWARD-FORWARD-INFINITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Massimo:
Oh, ev'ry thought that's strung a knot in my mind,
I might go insane if it couldn't be sprung.
But it's not to stand naked under unknowin' eyes,
It's for myself and my friends my stories are sung.
But the time ain't tall,
Yet on time you depend and no word is possessed
By no special friend.
And though the line is cut,
It ain't quite the end,
I'll just bid farewell till we meet again"
Rarely we've listened this verse on stage Jan and I like to think you playing this song and your
stories near your friend, just when the last cigarette is becaming ash, with the sound of a soft
breeze from Duluth"
Blindwilly:
Well, God is in heaven
And we all want what's his
But power and greed and corruptible seed
Seem to be all that there is
I'm gazing out the window
Of the St. James Hotel
And I know no one can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell
I know if Bob Dylan would have known you, he would have sung the Blues for you.
Thanks for leading some of my early steps entering the wondrous world of Lossless Bob.
