Blue Cheer 2006-11-14 The Earl Atlanta, GA

 Hey everybody!
Recently I was able to see Blue Cheer with 2 of the original members (Dickie & Paul) doing songs from their first 2 lps "Vincebus Eruptum" & "OutsideInside"......Duck did a great job of playing the riffs that Leigh Stephens originally played that influenced many of the modern day "stoner" rock bands that have a loyal following in the Metal Underground today. I taped this from Duck's side of the stage as Dickie would have drowned out the rest of the band with his monster bass playing!

If Blue Cheer should happen to play your area they are totally cool with audio & video as long as they get a copy and that no money is involved with the distribution of the show, much like with The Grateful Dead's trading policy. Also Philips has re-issued some of the back catalog on vinyl that is worth tracking down. Please support this band in any way you can as they are playing to sparse crowds in the US and they deserve better!

Put in your earplugs and turn this one up to 11!
