Another Los Angeles tape eXchange (LAX) recording
This one was done by John Musgrave & Rex Hamilton from behind the stage on the right side.

Sennheiser 2 MKH 406 tu microphones > Sony TCD D-5 w/ Dolby B using 2 Maxell MX C-90 cassettes

Transfer (201
Nakamichi CR7A (Dolby B, azimuth aligned & Bias @ 70usec) > Korg MR2000-S @ 1 bit 5.6 MHz DSDIFF
AudioGate (24-96) > iZotope RX6 advanced & Har-Bal 3.0 (prep) > CD Wave > TLH (flac

A bad microphone connection created a few places where the right channel was dead.
These areas are now "dual left channel" mono to keep the sound towards the middle.

Loud clapping and screaming were toned down in post production.
Dropouts, pops, thumps and other handling noises were removed at the same time.
Bottom end reduced to increase detail hidden beneath the heavy bass picked up by the 406 mics.

For historical reference only and not intended for resale or any commercial use.

Enjoy…
