From Georgia, Guadalcanal Diary was one of the most underappreciated bands on the 80's,
Their sound is a mixture of catchy, sharp, sometimes twisted lyrics with thundering drums,
catchy bass lines and the well-crafted guitar stylings of Jeff Walls.

They opened several times for REM in 1986.
And now they have some records reissued:
2003 : 1984 album "Walking in the Shadow of the Big Man" re-release by RHINO handmade as a
deluxe limited edition CD.
2004 : Rhino Handmade has done it again with an awesome deluxe edition of 1987 album "2X4".
