Acquired by Nelly-Duke as a 1st Gen off Alex D.'s master, this needed a gentle retouch in Audacity (Amplification of +2db overall with Left Channel

tweaks ranging from -3db > +1.2db & Right Channel tweaks between -0.75db > +2db, with a total of 25s extraneous audience cut from the start & end of the

recording with appropriate Fades added plus 20s cut for a tapeflip after Track 10 & other breaks) prior to the sbe's & flac conversion...

Taped on the UK leg of the 'Killers World Tour '81' (& what would prove to be the last tour with Paul Di'Anno), this is a worthwhile recording of a

lively enough performance from the band with a decent early setlist - mp3 samples below, & Nelly-Duke's notes are as follows...

'One generation from Alex Dart's master. Sony TCS 310 + unknown mic. Decent audience recording. This was a great Maiden tour. Saw them at

Sheffield; well worth the night on Doncaster Station...I was at the Hull gig as well 3 months earlier. Also saw them at Withernsea Pavilion a

couple of months before. Reckitt's Music Club coach job. We did Donny Station a few times in the early 80s, it was the only way we could get

to see bands that didn't play Hull (let's face it, not many did!) unless Reckitt's ran a coach. Moved to Sunderland in 82 for Uni, so got my

gig fixes at Newcastle after that!'
