Source: soundboard > master recording > ? > Tommy Malone's Maxell UDXL-II 60 (high-bias) cassette (Dolby indicated "off") (Probably 1st generation from master soundboard recording. Possibly 2nd generation.)

Transfer to flac (March 2007): Malone's cassette > Nakamichi CR-7A (head azimuth adjusted for optimal playback; heads cleaned and demagnetized; no Dolby on playback) > Harmon Kardon HK3480 > analog > Audiomedia III soundcard > Macintosh G3 > Bias Peak 2.62 > firewire hard drive > Macintosh Powerbook G4/1000 > Bias Peak 4.14 (normalized by 7.0 db, Waves X-Noise plugin applied, Waves X-Crackle plugin applied - see below.) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 1.59 > flac

No eq. Slight noise reduction and crackle removal applied. See screen grabs for settings.

Note: This recording is in MONO. (On the source cassette, there was nothing recorded on the left channel. Thus, only the right channel was used.)

The volume changes about 32 seconds into the recording.

* Tommy Malone joins on Track 6 and performs on the rest of the songs. Electric guitar on Tracks 6-10, acoustic on Track 11, bass on Tracks 12-13. Harmony vocals on Tracks 8 and 10. (He may not perform on the last song.)
