This is a combination of two sources: a download I got off Dime, and the Seven Months in America CD.
The latter had the songs in slightly better quality - there was slight tape distortion on the otherwise
excellent full length songs and interview download I'd picked up. I always found the songs sounded quite
brittle, and to me, a little painful to listen to in the mix presented on the 7 Months in America cd.
I originally worked on this in 2010, and on revisiting this now, in 2020, during lockdown, I have had
another go at the songs. My initial treatment was by a method I have moved on from. Here, in Audacity,
I reduced the treble and raised the bass, brought down the gain, and applied a little reverb.
I like the way it sounds quite a lot now, if this is for you, I hope you like it too.
