~~ from 1st gen SBD tape! ~~

...and on guitar we have: one of the most widely circulated Zappa shows, here taken right from a 1st generation reel-to-reel tape. The tape was copied from a band member, and if his tape was a 1st gen, then this is "only" 2nd gen. This recording is rather dark - some might say dull - but all the detail is there. Just boost the high end to your liking, and this sounds great, with very little hiss. I wouldn't mind seeing a remastered version seeded, by someone who knows what he/she is doing.
Note that this version is longer than most versions that have circulated before. The current tracker version is 8 minutes shorter. Also, we are probably going to see a second version seeded, one generation higher, from a different dub line. That version will be much brighter than this one.
