Comments:

This is a superb quality soundboard recording. Emmylou says during the performance that the show is being recorded, but it has never been officially released. (This is NOT the officially released "At The Ryman" which was recorded over three nights in 1991)

This was the last show by Emmylou and the Nash Ramblers after five years performing together (although they did play again together in 2017 back at the Ryman to raise money for its preservation).

What a stunning, and long, show this is. Emmylou's voice plus virtuoso musicians plus fantstic choice of songs equals country perfection.

Tracks 17 & 18 are instrumentals by the Nash Ramblers

Tracks 32 and 33 are Jon Randall Stewart songs and lead vocals

Tracks 36 and 37 are Bill Monroe

Much as I love Emmylou's voice, my absolute favourite here is tracks 28-20. Sam Bush and Al Perkins start off with the just the two of them perfoming Little Feat's Sailing Shoes which then morphs into Cream's Crossroads (all just on mandolin and slide guitar). The rest of the band join in half way through Crossroads before ending back on Sailing Shoes. Just jot from beginning to end.

With covers of songs by Simon & Garfunkel, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle and Bruce Springsteen to name a few, along with her own songs, this is a great set list.

Newpapers articles and reviews of the show are included, along with poster and CD artwork

If you want to burn to 3 CDs, split after tracks 18 and 34.
